DoLS Legal Update Course (Refresher)
Action First Assessments Ltd are delighted to announce we have commissioned LPS Law Ltd. Neil Allen (Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester and a Barrister at 39 Essex Chambers) to host a DoLS Legal Update Course on Tuesday 14th November 2023
Session aims
- Get the latest ideas on managing DoLS requests now that LPS has been shelved.
- Be familiar with all the latest case law developments regarding DoLS.
- Have a checklist against which to measure how "good" your assessments are.
- Have the confidence to know when and why to set conditions and make recommendations for standard authorisations.
- Have developed confidence in knowing the interface with the MHA 1983.
- Have shared practice experience and had your specific questions answered.
